Outdoor Classrooms

Our outdoor classrooms visit a variety of Florida ecosystems to learn about oceanographic geology, mangroves, water quality, and coastal changes just to name a few spots. Time in our outdoor classrooms focus on hands on, in nature learning to help students have an interactive experience to connect what they learn from a text book to the outdoors. Typically, this is a full day learning experience with a station-based approach for students in 4th -12th grade.
In the Fall, Spring and Summer we also snorkel at Peanut Island and offer an option for High School citizen science in coral monitoring and data collection.
Outdoor classrooms are primarily for homeschool groups or schools with at least 8 students.
